Galaxy Wallet Blocked by Verizon

A lot of people reacted violently when ComputerWorld confirmed today that Verizon is indeed blocking their users to utilize their Galaxy Wallet for their Galaxy Nexus mobile phone. However people began to understand better the situation upon their further investigation on the matter; this is because of the fact that Verizon is also planning to implement their own payment method for the services that they are offering. Because of this current situation not only on Verizon, but on other mobile carriers in the United States as well, it would be a good idea for people to not expect having a Google Wallet service for their mobile phone – at least for those phones that are tied to major networks such as Verizon, T-Mobil and AT&T.

However, those people who are really seeking to use Google Wallet in all of their purchases should not lose hope because the Galaxy Nexus that will be released by Sprint – the only carrier that is not blocking off Google Wallet – will be able to utilize the features of the said payment method. With all the options taken into consideration, it is really now up to the users to decide whether they want to wait for the Galaxy Nexus from Sprint, or if they would make do with using other payment methods with other network providers.
