Google Map 6.0 Provides Android Users with Indoor Mapping

The all-time best application has been made better. Google Maps 6.0 for Android phones now comes with an additional feature that includes indoor mapping. The main purpose of this application is to make it easier for customers to navigate around public places such as shopping malls, airports, retail outlets, and others destinations. Google Maps 6.0 for Android provides a portable directory which can even identify which building you are, what floor you are, and where your next destination may be.

Google has initially partnered with some of the largest retailers which enabled them to have detailed floor plans. Some of them include Mall of America, The Home Depot, San Francisco International Airport and more. In addition, switching between features becomes easier with a new drop down menu which easily switches between Places, Navigation and others. The new Places home screen was redesigned with popular searches for a particular area such as grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, and other desired spots during travel.

Google maps for android phones once again provided the consumers a very useful tool for navigation. This coming season, this application will definitely help shoppers identify the shortest route to the next shop, as well as guide tourists on their future destinations.
