Galaxy Nexus Powered by ICS to be Launched on December 9

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the most anticipated mobile phone this coming holiday season. It comes with Google’s new operating system called the Ice cream sandwich. This phone can be new breakthrough in the gadgets area, being optimized by an operating system that combines Gingerbread and Honeycomb in one.

A summarized review of this product shows that there is much more to anticipate from this product. As an advantage, there are lots of new features brought by the Ice Cream Sandwich. Aside from the fact that it appears to look like a handheld computer wherein you can make calls, it also comes with a more refined and improved interface.

On the other hand, some downfalls were observed on this model which includes the absence of an external memory card slot. Like any other Samsung Galaxy phones, this model also seems to be fragile. The more updated and advanced Ice Cream Sandwich operating system is its main advantage over other phones. Without such OS, the phone could just appear to be like any ordinary android phone.

Being the first one to have that OS could mean that it can be another breakthrough in the field of technology and cellular advancement. The phone is expected to be launched first by Verizon stores, which is rumoured to be on the December 9.
