Delightful Treat from Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus' tasty operating system has just gotten tastier than ever. Samsung already confirmed that they will also release the Android 4.0, codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich, on some of the Galaxy devices that are set to roll out this 1st Quarter of 2012. This is an extremely delightful for those who are skipping on the Galaxy Nexus but not on the Ice Cream Sandwich.

This tasty Android 4.0 update is set to come out on Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II, Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy R. Moreover, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus are also lined up for the Ice Cream Sandwich OS. That's a bunch of delightful treats. However, the only sad part of the news is that Samsung also emphasized that the Android 4.0 update will be available depending on the carrier and region.

The Android 4.0, codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich, is the latest in the line-up of Android operating systems. It was first released on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It features enhanced speed and performance, accelerated user interface, virtual buttons and tab-separated widgets. The user can now also browse the web using tabs. It also touts the Face Unlock, which allows the user to unlock the smart-phone through a facial recognition software.
